Stress is an important factor in skin appearance. When under stress, the body releases hormones, such as cortisol, in which changes the body response to everyday normal interactions. For instance when stressed inflammation (redness) or acne can appear on the skin.
Now get a piece of paper and a pencil or you can use your smart phone. Let’s make a list to identify the things that cause stress in your life and find a healthy way to remove those stressors out of your life. A simple task like taking deep breaths can decrease stress in your life. Another way maybe to set boundaries. That is to say, how much is too much or too little for you to manage your stress.
