Is your skincare expired?
Now there are plenty of blog post that breakdown a checklist for Fall Cleaning and that is awesome but that is not what we are here to talk about. Well, What are we talking about? Good question. We are talking about cleaning your skincare products. Of course, this is a given, but some of us may forget that skincare is not made to last forever. When you buy a product always be mindful of the expiration date or manufacture’s recommendation of usage for the product. Once a product has reached the expiration date, the product is no longer providing the needed benefits. In fact, products could do more harm than good. So, let’s get a trash bag or can and clear out all your skincare products that are expired.
Are you really using that product?
Next, is an old rule but goodie when it comes to cleaning up skincare. Out with the old, in with the new. If you are not using a product, then there is no reason to keep it lying around and most importantly taking up space or collecting dust. So, toss it and make room for the products that you are actually using. On the other hand, if you have what we like to call empties (the products that you love and have used up) sitting around, toss them too.
